Catalog Express is a web based application specifically developed for online retailers. With Express, you will be able to sell and market your products effectively on the internet. Catalog Express is composed of two modules; the Frontend, which is your main public website, and the Backend, which is a password protected control panel through which you can administer your site.
Catalog express possesses powerful product management features. Products are grouped into categories. Each product can have the following attributes
- A unique product number
- A collection
- A short descriptive name
- A detailed description
- A price
- Up to 50 pictures per product
- A list of available colors
- A list of available sizes
- Product Availability
Each category also carries a description which will let your visitors know what type of products to expect in that category.
The backend enables you to view orders that your customers have placed using the frontend. You will also be able to mark order as old /new as well as delete orders.
Catalog Express has a powerful email marketing tool. With this feature, you can send professional looking email with your company's logo, a photo of your product or a post from your blog.
You also have the option of adding news to your website through the backend. Each news entry can also have one image attached to it.
The Mailing List is a feature that allows you to organize contacts based on categories. It features a powerful parser that enables you to import multiple contacts with one click of a button! These contacts can then be used with the Message Center feature.
Catalog Express has a blog feature which can be utilized in different forms on your website (product advisory, fashion tips, conventional blog, etc ). The blog has a powerful editor which enables you to upload and insert multiple entries into an article. You can also view comments that your visitors may have submitted through your website.
With Catalog Express, you can edit the various write-ups (about us, mission, profile etc) on your site all by yourself.
Through the frontend, your visitors will be able to browse through all your products in a user friendly manner. They will also be able to view multiple views per products (up to 4 views) and enlarge pictures to see larger views. There is also a 'send to a friend' feature which enables them to easily refer products to others.
The frontend features a powerful search engine which enable visitors to search for products or blog posts. The product search matches user's queries with product names, numbers or descriptions.
Your site visitors will be able to order for products online using the shopping cart. The shopping cart supports adding different specifications for products such as color, dimensions (for applicable products) and quantity.
Your blog can be implemented in different ways on the frontend e.g. product advisory, fashion tips etc. Visitors will also have the option of placing comments for each post as well as forward them to their friends.
